The Mother Daughter Quilt

I finished the Mother Daughter quilt Kayla and I started after thanksgiving. The quilt was made from my grandma's scrap fabric that she gave me. Kayla and I decided a while back that when it was done that we give it to her, and we made a trip today to deliver it. Needless to say she was pretty tickled to get it.

So not only does the quilt contain the fabric that was left over from my first quilt, that was my daughter's blanky, and is now in my daughter's first quilt. My grandma pointed out that some of the other fabric that is in it was some that HER mother gave her. How cool is that! 5 generations have had a hand in this quilt!
