Hello! I was wondering if I could reach out to you for some helpful tips and tricks. I have been just getting into resin work for floral preservation and for me the sanding, polishing and flood coat is super confusing for me. Like I cannot seem to grasp it for some reason and I feel like I am making it harder on myself but I could be completely wrong. Im just not sure if im sanding stuff that is unnecessary to sand if I should be sanding every item every time and then polishing and flood coating it and then sand again? I am also not sure which grits of sand I should be using either because everyone uses different grits and Google is throwing all these different one. Also every time i have tried a flood coat it come out really rough looking and i feel like im doing…

All of them. You have to step up through the levels of grit to remove deeper scratches from the previous grits. Then finish up rubbing compound. It is a process and takes a lot of time and patience.
